37 degree Pro Series hooded peep with Alignment Tubing

SKU: 750PS

Specialty Archery has redesigned the Super Hunter Peep Kits! We have substituted our machined aluminum hooded peeps and peep aligners for the molded polycarbonate peeps formerly offered in these kits. Specialty Archery’s Aluminum Super Hunter Peep Kits now offer the quality and precision of our machined aluminum hooded peeps, with the reliability of silicone alignment tubing!

Kit includes: Pro Series 37 degree hooded aluminum peep (Part #749-37PS BLK), 1/8” Aperture (Part #746), 16” of silicone alignment tubing (Part #753-6), Peep Aligner Standard (Part #PAS), and Dual Aperture wrench (Part #210078).

The 37 degree Pro Series Peep accepts all 1/8", 3/32”, 1/16”, 3/64”, and 1/32” Apertures and Clarifiers, and all 1/8” Verifiers. Use of Dual Aperture Wrench is recommended for insertion of Verifiers, Clarifiers, and Apertures. The optional screw-in Verifier lenses sharpen the pins. The optional screw-in Clarifiers when used with a scope and lens sharpen the target face.

Watch the peep tying video in the Videos section of the website when you receive your peep.

Additional information can be found in theQuestions tab on our home page.

CAUTION: High powered bows create a great amount of vibration. This may loosen verifiers, clarifiers and apertures over time. Tighten your apertures before each use. If you hear a buzzing sound, this indicates a loose aperture. You may use a drop of Vibra-Tite VC 3, Teflon tape, bow wax, or any other non-permanent binding agent on the threads.

Are these in stock and good for a 40" ata?

There is a chart showing which degree to get. The alignment kit is just a standard RAD kit, so we would always have it in.

Do recurve archers use peep sights, and if so, do they use the rubber tubing peep sights, if so what does the rubber tube attach to on the bow.

No - If a recurve archer uses a peep then they are in compound classification. peeps were originally used to clarify the scope on compounds. For hunting people found them useful for aligning the sight with the peep to ensure they did not torque the bow. If your hunting then you could use a peep with a recurve but you would use something like a shurza peep. People don't use peeps with recurves because the range is closer and peeps reduce the amount of light making it harder to see the target. Even compounds you don't need a peep - it is just gives your assurance everything is perfect.
